Anybody want to join me at Dirtfish Rally School in January? I'm thinking the one-day program, but I could probably get talked into the two-day program.

Dirtfish has some BUILT rally cars, these aren’t just Subarus with a few bolt-ons. I’ll probably pick a BRZ to gain some insight from the pros on a rwd chassis. Sti’s are available as well. So, any takers? It’s not cheap, but the packages are all 20% off right now, and I'm guessing this is the kind of experience that will be cherished for a long time.

Woah! I was just there today. If you want to do a class in Jan, better book it now. I was hoping to be able to do the 2hr class with a friend of mine this week, but they are booked out weeks in advance. B uy the class by the 28th while there’s a 20% discount, and you can schedule it for next year. You won’t be disappointed.

Haha yeah, I realized that making a “planning” post when Kinja is in full-blown lockdown mode might not have been the smartest.

Could potentially add a day to explore the trails in the mountains/local attractions. I know there are a ton of forest service roads nearby that the school uses occasionally. Camp? hotel? Might be better for people making a long drive....

What are you thinking? It’s a bit of drive, we could always add on some local exploration and a hotel/camping thing if that would make it easier. There are apparently some amazing forest service roads in the area I’ve been dying to explore...

I’m very interested, but due to Kinja being an ass, you should probably take care of the particulars over an alternate platform (like Discord).

I know I've talked to them about using my CVPI, but they didn't agree due to liability.

Kinja is hardcore borked right now, haven’t seen it this bad in a loooong time. Looks like the first two day is all the way out in April. As for one days, they all fall on weekends, need to check with my band and see what our schedule is early 2019, we have shows every other weekend, but not sure when that actually kicks off.

Umm..maybe. He could do a ride- a- long. They wouldn’t let me go past the parking lot, and you can’t see a whole lot from there. I could see the cars staging before their runs, but there is a building blocking the view of the course they were on. There is a course in front of the parking area, they just weren’t using that one while I was there. They do have a simulator room where you can play Dirt 4 ( Dirt Fish property is in Dirt 4) and it’s amazi ngly accurate .

There’s a really cool waterfall 5 mins from their location, that you might want to go see while you’re there. It’s not a long walk. You can park and walk to it in 5 mins.

That would be sweet to make a weekend of it! And yeah I'd probably spend the night in the area. Camping would be cool if it ends up being a little closer to summer, but probably a hotel if it's dead of winter.

Dang it, now I’m really wishing I was doing my original road trip plan of driving all the way to Canada for skiing. This would have lined up perfectly. I’d be 100% down for dirtfish if you wanted to line it up with spring Oppo meet PNW!
